报告摘要:α-synuclein proteins are closely related to both Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease. We investigate interactions between α-synuclein and different lipid bilayers by using Dissipative Particle Dynamics simulations, aiming to understand how the compositions of the lipid bilayers may influence these interactions. We find, α-synucleins on bilayers composed of 922 DOPC and 230 DOPS lipids take a variety of conformations. For lipid bilayers composed of DPPC, POPS, POPE and lysoPC (or lysoPS, or lysoPE) lipids, lysolipids facilitate the adsorption of α-synucleins to the lipid bilayers. We also investigate the biophysical properties of ethanolamine plasmalogens (pl-PEs) and choline plasmalogens (pl-PCs) by all-atom molecular dynamics simulations, and find that the vinyl-ether bond increases the order and membrane thickness of pl-PEs (compared with SAPE lipids) while the choline group decreases the membrane thickness of pl-PCs (compared with pl-PEs).
