报告摘要及报告人简介:
Dr. Hongbo Pang received his bachelor's degree from the College of Life Science, Peking University, and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City. From 2011 to 2017, he did his postdoctoral training with Dr. Erkki Ruoslahti (2022 Albert Lasker Awardee) at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, La Jolla. Since 2018, he joined the Department of Pharmaceutics at the University of Minnesota. His lab is highly interdisplanary, covering topics from peptide/biomarker screening, peptide-guided therapeutics and nano-cell interface. Please see his research websites for more detail (https://sites.google.com/umn.edu/pang/home). Over the past few years, his lab has published over 15 research articles and generated several patents on peptide-drug conjugates. His talk today will mainly focus on the recent works on deciphering the cellular transport machineries that carry nanomaterial through multilayered cells and across plasma membrane.
